YOU 2 CHEEKY MONKEYS..

These have got to be my favourite set of photos (as previous posts show!!). At Boots they do 8x6 collage photos but I didn't like the set up so decided to crop them and use the mini pics in my own way.
This layout used one piece of patterned paper and Basic Grey letter stickers, the number 2 is a chipboard number.

The monkeys and bananas were actually behind the red card and rather than waste them I gutted the paper and cut out the shapes to use as embellishments.
The only extra embellishments used are these cheeky chaps.
They started life as a keyring from Paperchase (and they were in the sale-bonus!)

Using a craft knife I trimmed the bottom of the monkeys and then used them as a photo corner. It was one of those techniques I thought would be easy and fun! My patience did wear thin halfway through!
You can't tell but I have used a green felt tip to draw round the inside of the letters to help make them stand out.
The next layout will feature diffferent photos I promise!

I have one more layout to post but then it may be a while before I get any more finished as my baby rolled over today and I fear it may not be long before he is mobile (his brother walked at 9months!) I hope not as I want him to be a baby a bit longer!!!
