Bots News...

Bot has a fan club. It has one exclusive member my nephew!
He was the lucky lad who was sent a knitted Bot and this is what he sent us...
It is so good had to show it off.

Whilst typing this Alfie is rolling around in a a pile of (unused) nappies! He has emptied the bag and having a very happy time. I won't spoil his fun.

Remember this guy?

This is Bot (first featured Jan 27th 09). He was created by Charlie, my talented son.
Well I have just discovered knitting after purchasing a lets start knitting kit from TKMaxx.
(Due to having a baby that has forgotten how to sleep scrapping has taken a backseat for the moment but knitting I can do when he is sleeping on me and i'm tied to the sofa.)
My nan taught me when I was young so I can do the basic stitch and this was so easy to make, he is actually my second one Charlie has the first attempt and even though I have tweaked the design since he doesn't want another one cos he has the first knitted one!
This little Bot is being posted to my nephew as we speak. He loves Charlies designs and actually invented his own Bots, the sketches are sitting on the fridge and will still be there when he has his own children LOL
Thanks for looking.

Hello BOT!

Be warned I am going to brag about my son.
Last year he invented a cartoon character called BOT. He has appeared on many pictures since and even some cards.
Yesterday Charlie had to go into hospital (more about this below). As a suprise I brought BOT to life for him, well in toy form.
It is made from a scrap of suedette material. The eyes and mouth are foam and the flames are felt.
Poor Charlie had to have a some extra teeth removed. Even the surgeon was suprised at the size of them for extra teeth. We thought they were both behind the front teeth but actually one was in front and one behind. It has left him with very wobbly front teeth for a while, having to be very careful about what he eats and no physical activity (ie P.E) for 4 weeks. He was so so brave and it was a horrid day having to watch him go through it.
Today he can feel the stitches and swelling is uncomfortable but he is now home and recovering well. The hospital staff on the Timpson ward were great.
Lastly a quick hug for Kaylee, a friend of mine she was invloved in a car accident which wrote off the car she was travelling in and it shook her up alot. Hope you feel okay now.
