A long catch up ...

This blog post has been a long time coming BUT all I would have to blog about lately is school runs and illness.
Firstly poor Alfie had a virus about a month ago and since then he has struggled to pick up and get himself better, even Charlie had time off school:
(the little tuft of hair peeping by the feet is actually a toddlers head!)

We have had a new addition to the family:
**Joey Timothy**
My toddler is no longer the baby cousin...

We also celebrated the eldest childs 12th birthday.
Time has gone soooo fast...too fast really, but he's growing into a young man whom we are very proud of.
This was celebrated in style.
First event - birthday tea at Nans house.
Second event - Cinema with friends to see (a brilliant, and highly recommended film)
Arthur Christmas
followed by Pizza Hut tea...
Third, and final event - games night and pizza at Uncle Jacc and Craigs house
(Uncle Jacc does get competitive hehe)

Charllie performed in the town centre lights switch on with Starlight.
(My lad is the tall one at the back)
He has also got the job of school librarian, following an application form and interview.
Very impressed with how he is doing at senior school, even moved up a Maths group which is a major accomplishment.
Alfie has been picked to be a star in his playschool nativity next week so fingers crossed he is well.

2 February 2010

It was Mass today...

Charlie had Class Mass today and read his lines brilliantly.
Alfie stared at him so intently while he was reading.
We left not long after because a certain little man was being very vocal. He was chatting away but got louder and louder. The Priest asked "What do old people and babies have in common?"
Alfie shouted out a string of babble in reply, which made everyone laugh.
He is as cheeky as he looks :)

New Year News...

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Well how has 2010 been so far??
It has been a while since my last post but alot has been happening in my household and here is a quick catch up:

1. We all suffered a sickness bug over Christmas except Alfie he had a poorly ear (requiring antibiotics)
2. Alfie now claps his hands.
3. He now climbs.
4. He now pulls himself up to standing on any object he can (nervously chattering while doing so) if he can't pull himself up he climbs over it.
5. We now have baby gates fitted.
6. Have donated his pogo centre to a local play centre.
7. New school term started.
8. Charlie got 30/35 in a recent spelling test and now moved up a group.
9. We have had more snow.
10. I realised I do have a competitive streak when playing on the Wii.
11. Have actually tidied my craft table so you can now see the cloth and the legs are no longer bowing.
12. Been given a blog award, which I will post later today...Thank you so much Annalisa :)

THE BOYS CHILLING WITH THEIR FAVOURITE PEOPLE - EACH OTHER...
Wishing you all good health and happiness for 2010 and will be back soon.

These 2 make me smile...

These 2 just love chilling on the blanket in the morning. Rolling around together, laughing, chatting, playing. It's a delight to watch and hear, it's great to see how close they are.
Big Bro tolerates his Little Bros ear and hair pulling and forgives him anything when he smiles at him or grabs his ears to kiss him.

The cutest photo ever....

Isn't this the cutest photo ever??
These boys adore each other. The little ones face lights up when he sees Big Bro and he knows that he only has to smile and he gets anything - he also knows this works if he cries loud enough.
Big Bro adores this baby and can't do enough for him.
Mum and Dad adore them both.
On a crafting note I have actually completed 2 layouts and will hopefully post them soon.

It's a dirty job but someones gotta do it...

...that's why we have an older child Haha. (It was only a wet one honest and he asks to do them, thinking it could be a reason to ask for more pocket money!!)
Thanks for all your kind comments XXX
