This layout came together so quickly. I had a sketch planned out but it just came together on it's own. It has become one of my favourite layouts- think it helps that I just adore the photo (it shows which one is boss! LOL).
I enlarged the photo to 8x6 and kept the layout simple.
The hearts panel is a paperchase carrier bag, I couldn't bear to throw it away. I attached it to the layout with tiny sticky dots in each corner then a few where the photo would cover.
The letters are flocked paper and cut from BK liqourice and QK sunshine.
This chipboard heart was a gift, Thanks Ros, I decorated it using another new technique.Firstly I painted the plain heart using red acrylic paint,
for the second (decorative) heart I used flocking:
I have been itching to use this stuff as I adore flock letters BUT it isn't as easy as it looks. It is very messy and it kept sticking to me not the glue. Before giving up on the stuff I have decided to use my sticker machine next time. You do only need the smallest amount.
I finished off the heart by painting the edges of the dry layered heart in red paint.
I completed the layout with a handstitched frame.
(I thought it was great that my new camera had a feature which included the date on photos - now I don't know how to turn it off!).

Esp love the red heart.. but could't stop laughing about you getting into a mess..
