Crafty Ideas

This is such an easy, fun, gorgeous embellishment, i've seen it used alot on layouts and love the result. The difference is that I have only ever seen it used with circles so I adapted the idea and used hearts.
All handcut from vintage style papers, then scrunched up, roughly flattened, sanded with an emery board and lastly scuffing the edges.

Do you remember this paper from your childhood or your childrens childhood?
It's black matt and when you scratch the surface a rainbow effect appears from underneath.
I recently purchased a pack from Poundland and decided to have a play using my bigshot machine and cuttlebug embossing folder.
Firstly I placed the paper (black side up) in the embossing folder (logo side up),
when embossed lightly sand the black and the effect takes place.
This example was quickly done to show you the result.
Go on, have a go and have some fun. Let me know how you get on.
