AONTHER OLDIE...

This is a favourite of mine. It took the longest time to complete.
I saw the quote in Scrapbook Trends and knew I would be using it and which photo I would be using it on!
The letters have been cut from an old cardboard box (using BOY O BOY font-sizzix) and then covered with flocking. I found it alot easier to use this time.

The butterfly has been made using the Hearts and Wings die (QK) in a different way. I cut the wings and attched to layout using foam pads, curled the edges, placed gems down the centre and stickles for the "stalks". Voila...A Butterfly.
I used alot of die cutting products on this page: Brother (Sizzlets), letters are framed on embossing folder nameplate (QK) and the photo mat has been embossed (Cuttlebug) and then sanded.

The top border is a journalling spot stamp.
I couldn't think how to finish the bottom of the layout so, being my usual self, it went wrong and I tore it off. I put some new paper at the bottom and used my swirls stamps and acrylic paint to do what you see here.
I wanted to produce a collage effect layout and I (think) I have achieved it.
